From Doctor Who to cocktails to mini golf - we did as much as we could whilst in Cardiff for a 19th birthday trip for my boyfriend.
So, after a week of radio silence on my blog (and lacking motivation whilst simultaneously having university work to do), I spent my very sunny Saturday in the birth place of William Shakespeare himself: Stratford-upon-Avon.
It's always nice when friends from back home take the time out of their own busy schedules (whether that be due to full time work, higher education or travelling the world) to come and visit you in your new home at university. We spent the day doing some of my favourite things to do on a quiet weekend in Worcester; here, I am going to give you some top tips of what to do both in Worcester and generally, when friends visit you.
One of my new year’s “resolutions” this year was to actually bite the bullet and start booking things that I want to do in 2017. Days out, weekends away, shows, etc. I have an awful habit of listing all these wonderful places I want to go and things I want to do and never doing any of it. So, for my first adventure of the year, I booked a weekend away in Chester whilst I had some free time from uni.
